For 2010, Paramedics are required to complete a PSR ( policy skills review ) through San Joaquin County EMS when you are accrediting in our county.
The .pdf file to the right is the current schedule that SJEMSA has posted.  This information is also available on the SJEMSA website.
Keep in mind, that is your responsibilty to sign up for one of these courses and attend.
EMT's can also attend, but it is not a county requirement for them.  For paramedics, it is.
CE is given for your time.

2010 SJ EMSA PSR schedule
Starting January 01, 2010, there are some changes in some of the county policies and protocols for EMS providers.
The document to the right lists and shows the CURRENT changed policies.


KEEP IN MIND, HOWEVER, THAT POLICIES ARE UPDATED REGULARLY, AND IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE SJEMSA WEBSITE TO KNOW THE CURRENT POLICIES / PROTOCOLS THAT YOU OPERATE UNDER.

2010 SJ EMS Policy Changes

All paramedics accrediting in San Joaquin County are required to attend at least 1 PSR class within thier accreditation period, and needs to be current to reaccredit.
The study guide to the right is from the SJ EMSA website.  While it has many excerpts from policies and skills, it is not a complete policy list.  Please refer to the SJ EMSA website for a complete list of policies.

This guide will help get you through the PSR class you attend, and should be studied.
Remember:  as an accreditted paramedic in San Joaquin County, you are responsible for knowing your scope of practice, skills, and policies / protocols we operate under.
