Here you will find local articles and stories as published by our local newspapers, magazines, and links to television spots. In our high profile world of public safety, there are bound to be pics!
Inherently, EMS workers go above and beyond. We are proud of what we do, and the community we serve. The article to the left speaks about a group of citizens in San Joaquin County, including 2 local EMT's and Paramedics, who came to the aid of one of our allied agencies, the Stockton Police Department. While most of us reading this article and seeing the actual award that was presented to these two individuals might not think twice about doing what they did, to our constituents, our public, and to the officer in need, it was heroic.
We are proud of you, and your co-workers and public share that sentiment.
Great job to Daniello and Denu!!!
Driven to a Higher Standard
AMERICAN MEDICAL RESPONSE OF SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE TO BOTH OUR EMPLOYEES, AND THE PUBLIC WE SERVE, THAT WE ARE CAAS ACCREDITED!!!
The Commission of Accreditation of Ambulance Service(CAAS) is an independent organization that sets the "gold standard" for ambulance operations nationwide. Becoming a part of CAAS not only creates guidlines for better patient care, but also helps in running a more efficient service.
There are less than 120 ambulance locations nationwide that have the distinction of CAAS accreditation. We are proud to be one of them.
Why Accreditation?
ACCREDITATION IS IMPORTANT TO YOUR:
Patients (and your community) Accreditation assures your patients that the service has met the Commission's high standard for quality patient care and that the service stands ready to care for their families if needed.
Local Officials Accreditation assures local officials that your service has undergone careful scrutiny by an independent review process. In future years, many local officials are expected to require ambulance accreditation.
Medical Community Your medical community can be confident that your service is providing quality patient care in accordance with nationally-accepted standards. Ambulance accreditation is also important because of the important role you play in the health care team.
Ambulance Service Your ambulance service will receive the recognition it deserves for its outstanding achievements. Your staff will be proud to be affiliated with a service which has met the Commission's high standards. Accreditation may also provide you with a competitive advantage particularly when marketing your service.
